This is why I don't like talking to Yankees about football.

There are two Premier League matches tomorrow, and one of them is the Sunderland vs Chelsea match. There are also 3 or 4 games being played on the following day.

Over all his play let the more creative players like Malbranque and Richardson get forward and create chances for the strikers, whilst also allowing his partner Cattermole to play a more advanced box-to-box role. They pretty much overran a Bolton team in the midfield area who are renowned for their battling and physical play, especially in the first 45 minutes.

He'll have a tough job when he'll probably be assigned to keep Lampard quiet against Chelsea tomorrow.
LOL you've been reading the Sunderland forum I'm guessing? (http://www.readytogo.net/smb/forumdisplay.php?f=86)

Anyway, I didn't see the game but I read the other CM(Cattermole) stole the show. Cana seemed to do decent though. At least Sundeland fans didn't blast him. Cana got an average rating here: http://www.skysports.com/football/us...149184,00.html

Some Albanians have unrealistic expectations about him IMO. I don't think he has the qualities for the top 4 clubs in England. (Man City, Everton, Spurs.. that's debatable)

I doubt he'll "shine" in the PL like some expect him to. The fact that he'll play against some of the top teams in the world will surely prove his qualities. Perhaps he proves me wrong. A real test is tomorrow.

No faggot I didn't read the forums and never knew that particular one existed, I actually watched the match on some Far East Asian Satellite channel and the highlights on BBC. No Cattermole didn't steal the show, he played really well in the first half, but badly faded in the second half and was almost anonymous. Without Cana helping him out, he wouldn't had the chance to bomb forward like he did, and he lost a few balls too.

Cana played well throughout and obviously someone with his style of football will never get the plaudits he deserves. His play was a little bit reminiscient of what Makelele did for Madrid and Chelsea, where he stifled the opponents and broke up their attacks from deep, and then released the ball as soon as he got it. No nonsense crap from him and was quietly efficient throughout.

He would get into the first team of Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal...Teams like Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City no...

Lorik Cana is having a good game. Has won every aerial challenge thus far, tackled Kalou from behind just outside the box and won the challenge fairly. Stopped Deco a few times, and has kept Lampard in check.

1-0 half-time to Sunderland, although Chelsea look like scoring a few.

Cana is fvckin garbage man. He was good in the first 15 minutes but then ran out of energy?? lol... He's just ball watching.. flopping around being sloppy. He received a yellow after Deco owned him.

You know, if you think about it, it's better that he has come to sunderland. Cause now he will realise he isn't as good as he thinks he is. HOPEFULLY, he will lose power in the NT so he doesn't continue as the egocentric cvnt that he is right now.

What are you guys talking about? He's world class.

I stopped watching after Lampard scored the penalty.

Nahhh I don't think he's an egocentric cvnt.. at least not anymore.

His price tag speaks for itself. He was sold for 5/6/7 million??(not sure) How the fvck do you sell a "great" player at those prices these days? He wasn't a nobody either but the captain of Marseille! Marseille paid 12 million for his replacement(M'Bia). I guess the experts in the football world know things we don't.
