Default Acura TL - Type S

This is old, bland and FWD; basically a nicer Accord. But, the incentives are awesome. $2500 marketing discount and 0.9% financing..

I'll test drive it just to see if I might like it. I figure it's about an $8K diff from a comparably equipped German car.

Old And Bland?!!! wattttttt...you can't post the grey version of it, the grey version looks retarded, it looks good in either black or blue. The white is ok.

That's an amazing car for what you get.

2004 was the first year of the current styling and it's going on 5 years with it. It's a boring look. Aside from better handling, it's not much different from my Maxima, which by the way is getting a complete make-over for '09.

I love this car too. I would get it but I can't afford it. I want the 2004 or newer version, unfortunatly the only TL's I have seen within my price range are the 2003 and older versions.

The Type-S is stupid because who needs that much power in a FWD car, the base TL should be good enough, if you need more power then you really should be getting a RWD car.

Yes it is FWD so it's not a "true sports car" but I don't care... FWD might be a problem when you racing on the track but not when you're cruising on the freeway which is what I do most. I need a car that's comfortble on the freeway and has a lot of passing power and a nice interior.

I am going to look for a 04+ TL and see if I can find one within my price range.

def try and get 05 06.

earlier models have recalls for the trannys...they blow every 40k miles or even less.
yes they are covered under warranty but it takes days and its only covered up to 100k miles

'04 Nissan Maxima is much cheaper and just as good - only problem is the automatic tranny, go with the 6 speed and you'll be pleased.

I'm just don't see paying $35K for an Accord with a different badge as a good thing.

The tranny problem is for the 98-03 generation of the TL. The 2004-present generation doesn't have this problem

Some people don't know the difference between the generations of the acura tl so here it is, the first picture is the 1998-2003 version and the second picture is the 2004 and newer version:

I am only considering the 04+ cause I think the previous version does'nt looks good.
