*) This picture was taken from a recently published
book called Albanie, Visage des Balkans with
an introduction by Ismail Kadare, published in Paris
by Arthaud. It contains many pictures from the Marubi
family photo archive. Three generations of Marubi's
took pictures in Albania covering the period from
1890 to 1940. The pictures were collected and revived
by Loic Chauvin.
